Every vote in elections is an opportunity for us each to make a difference for our country.
Not voting is an acceptance of the status quo. Same old same old.
It’s certainly not about politics. Or Parties. Or politicians.
It’s our chance to make a difference. In our own community.
If you’re not happy, vote for someone else for a change.
Someone you believe could do a better job. Irrespective of which party he/she belongs to.
There are no guarantees in life. We reap what we sow.
Opportunity only knocks once. In the case of elections, once every five years.
That’s when we get the chance to express our needs. Or wants.
Let’s grab the opportunity this year, for a better future for the next five years.
If we made the right choice, only time will tell.
If it was the wrong choice, we get to make it right five years from now.
As John Lennon said: “It will be okay in the end. If it’s not okay, it’s not the end”.
Life is a journey, not a destination. Enjoy the travel.
Get out there and vote on November 1. For the countries sake. And ours.
All the best,
